Tallinna Kalev võitis tänu heale teisele poolajale KK Pärnut
brandis_raley_ross_newG4S Eesti Korvpalli Meistriliigas peeti üks kohtumine, kus võtsid mõõtu Korvpalliklubi Pärnu ning Tallinna Kalev. Pärast tasavägist esimest poolaega pani Tallinna Kalev teisel poolajal oma paremuse maksma, võites kohtumise 86:68. 

Esimene poolaeg oli väga tasavägine ning kumbki meeskond ei suutnud initsiatiivi endale haarata. Kuigi Tallinna Kalev sai esimese veerandi lõpuks kerge 20:16 edu, oli teise veerandaja lõppedes ees omakorda kodumeeskond 46:41.

Pärast puhkepausilt tagasitulekut haaras mänguohjad enda kätte Tallinna Kalev, juhtides enne otsustavat kümmet minutit 8 punktiga, seisuks 64:56. Viimane veerandaeg ei toonud kohtumisse suuri muutusi ning Indrek Reinboki hoolealused kasvatasid pidevalt oma eduseisu võites mängu lõpuks 86:68.

Üleplatsimees oli 20 punkti ja 16 lauapalliga Matthew Shaw. Brandis Raley-Ross lisas 16, Mihkel Kurb 15 ning Aleksei Fedorchuk 11 silma. Pärnakate resultatiivseim oli Elgar Tamsalu 19 punktiga. Teda toetasid Toomas Raadik 15, Rannar Raap 14 ning Taavi Hämarsalu 13 silmaga. Raap võttis lisaks maha 10 lauda ja andis 5 resultatiivset söötu.
