Jalgpallihooaeg juhatatakse sisse märtsis Sportland Arenal
eesti_jalgpalliliit_newEesti jalgpallihooaja avamäng toimub teisipäeval, 6. märtsil kell 18:45 Sportland Arenal, kus Superkarika tiitli nimel võitlevad Tallinna FC Flora ja Narva JK Trans. 

Mullu Superkarika võitnud FC Flora tuli nii Eesti meistriks kui ka karikavõitjaks, mistõttu on seekordses Superkarika matšis nende vastaseks möödunud suvel karikavõistluste finaali jõudnud Narva klubi.

Neljapäeval, 8. märtsil kell 14 toimub aga kunstimuuseumis KUMU pidulik hooaja avaüritus, kus Meistri- ja Esiliiga klubid end tutvustavad ning loositakse karikavõistluste veerandfinaali paarid.

Meistriliigas pannakse pall mängu laupäeval, 10. märtsil, mil keskses matšis on kell 14 Sportland Arenal vastakuti Nõmme JK Kalju ja Tallinna FC Levadia. Samuti kell 14 võõrustab Paide linnameeskond koduväljakul FC Kuressaaret ning Sillamäe Kalev tiitlikaitsjat FC Florat. Kell 17 algab Kalevi kunstmurustaadionil Tallinna Kalevi ja FC Viljandi mäng.

Esiliigas on avavoor kavas pühapäeval, 11. märtsil: kell 14 kohtuvad Lasnamäe Spordikeskuse staadionil FC Puuma ja FC Flora II, Annelinnas JK Tammeka II ja Tartu SK 10 ning Ajaxi staadionil FC Ajax ja Rakvere Tarvas, kell 17 on Maarjamäe vastamisi FC Levadia II ja Kohtla-Järve Lootus.
